Back To The Sky: FG Announces July 8th for Resumption of Domestic Flights.

The Federal Government yesterday, Wednesday July 1st, 2020,  announced the resumption of domestic flights across the nation’s airports with effect from July 8. This comes after several months of shutdown owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika announced this and also disclosed that the flights will commence with the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja and the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

It was also announced that Port Harcourt, Owerri, and Maiduguri airports will reopen to flights on the 11th of July, while other airports across the country will join on the 15th of July.

Passengers were advised to adhere to the safety guidelines and protocols put in place by the aviation regulators to ensure that the airports don’t become channels of spread for the coronavirus.
